The FSIB (Fire Systems Inspection Bureau) is an independent third party organisation providing certification and inspection reports on Fire Detection and Gaseous Extinguishing Systems.

Leading Insurance Companies and Insurance Brokers have acknowledged the FSIB as an independent third party organisation who have the competency to conduct these tasks. They recommend that all fire detection systems and gaseous extinguishing systems installed in commercial and industrial properties are inspected and certified for compliance to South African Standards and Codes of Practice.

The FSIB is recommended by the ASIB (Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau) and the FDIA (Fire Detection Installers Association).

Test and Commissioning

The FSIB third party provides testing and commissioning services.

Although you have had a reliable contractor servicing your installation for many years there may be a system function that is being overlooked.

The FSIB approaches the installation fresh and tests all functions of the system. We report accurately to the client the true operational status of the system. We have no further financial gain once the report is produced.

Design Verification

It is wise to ensure the fire system is correctly designed before any installation is started. To rectify problems at the end of the job is far more difficult and costly than fixing the problem up front.
